“22221” (2025) is an experimental short film written, directed, and edited by Ella Grace. The concept was born from a card written by a family member weeks before their passing. Ella tells the story of the life and death of her loved one through four different perspectives.

Starting off her studies at UBC, Ella wrote, directed, and edited “Me, September” (2025), an experimental self-portrait. This short film shows a struggle of identity and consciousness within a cognitive landscape.
